She is running,
But for the first time it isn’t away.
Your words and His voice
Are the only comfort in her stay.
That facing the giants got easier,
But they forgot to mention
That running will no longer soothe her.
She’s fallen too far
To flee from her past;
Now it’s time to bleed
Toward something that’ll last.
She will open her arms and run,
To the place where the healing
Has finally begun.
