365 Days of Poetry — Day 109

There she stood, inside, outside of everything she knew,
There she found the gun, to her head, disfigured and blue.
Inside, outside, of everything red and darkened hues,
There she found her courage to sink the bullet through.

Before her eyes, inside, outside of everything she knew,
There she saw his name, enveloped and inked in darkened blue.
Inside, outside, of all of her dread and fear removed,
There she screamed, his name, just one last sight of love so true.
