365 Days of Poetry — Day 134

We are found clashing and chaffing against the innumerable gears and cogs of society.
We are raw and skinless to the eyes of metal teeth and gaping holes.
Our blood acts as the lubricating oils in which the gargantuan machines never die.
We are drained and recycled for the use of unknown aluminum and coppers.
We are but fuel for furnaces that hold our fate.
